It’s as easy as ADDIE [slideshare] [infographic]

There are several models for instructional design in the learning industry today. However, I continue to see professionals build curriculum without any models, structures or guidelines.

While it’s been around for quite a while now, the ADDIE model is very simple and a great starting point for instructional designers. In fact, it’s a great structure to follow whether you design curriculum as a professional or if you have to do it in the business world on an ad hoc basis.

This slideshare and infographic present a few simple questions for each stage of the ADDIE model that will help guide you in developing great curriculum – content, materials and delivery methods.
